About me
My name is Anna Margret Skuladottir, I’m 48 years old, I have three older children. I live in Farum with my husband, son and our dog Bruno.
I graduated as a psychologist from Aarhus University in 2010 and have more than 14 years of experience as a psychologist. Since then, I have completed my Specialist in Psychotraumalogy, and am therefore approved by the Danish Psychological Association as a Special Psychologist.
I have experience from various workplaces and assignments, including child and family counseling for socially vulnerable people, crisis psychologist at crisis centers, private clinic, forensic psychiatry, psychiatric adult department, work and organization psychologist, and as an independent psychologist.
I have extensive experience working with PTSD and C-PTSD, and attachment disorders. I work primarily with adults, families/couples, groups and often come to companies/organizations when relevant.
Furthermore, I have continuing education Supervision to other professionals and psychologists, in ACT – Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Clinical Hypnotherapy, conflict mediation, parental competence studies, risk assessment in personal cases, psychopathology, and several approvals regarding assessments and diagnoses regarding psychological disorders and disorders. I am certified in NEO-PI personality tests, JTI type tests, Decision Dynamics, PCL, SCID, HARE psychopath checklist and etc.
I am a member of the Danish Psychological Association and the Icelandic Psychological Association, and the Danish Society of Forensic Psychologists.
